They are problems that in most cases are difficult to handle. These are caused after injuries of the legs with heavily and complex depressed fractures. It is always an orthopaedic’s concern, that, although they treat the fractures correctly during the surgery, they cannot always avoid the pseudarthrosis implication or chronic osteomyelitis.

The simultaneous assistance of a plastic surgeon, in most cases, prevents any implications.
